Who is this course suitable for?

The IATA Certificate in Air Transport Fundamentals is designed for :   

1. New entrants to aviation/travel
2. Existing industry staff

Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to: 

1. Explain key concepts and importance of aviation safety. 
2. Describe the regulatory framework governing aviation safety. 
3. Recognize the impact of human factors on safety performance. 
4. Understand and apply the fundamentals of Safety Management Systems (SMS). 
5. Appreciate the importance of safety culture and individual responsibility in aviation operations. 

Entry Requirements: 

Age:  

• Minimum 16 years old. 

Language (English Track):  

• At least a Pass (Grade C6) in GCE O-Level English;  
• or IELTS 5.5;  

Academic (Local Students): 

• Completed NITEC or Higher NITEC; or 
• Obtained at least a Pass in one GCE O-Level subject (excluding English). 

Academic (International Students): 

• Completion of High School Qualification (Grade 10 or equivalent).

• Successful completion of all e-learning modules and assessments.
