The Aviation Safety Fundamental (E-Learning) course provides learners with an understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of aviation safety. It helps students develop a solid safety mindset and the ability to discuss safety issues confidently across different aviation contexts.
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Explain key concepts and importance of aviation safety.
- Describe the regulatory framework governing aviation safety.
- Recognize the impact of human factors on safety performance.
- Understand and apply the fundamentals of Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Appreciate the importance of safety culture and individual responsibility in aviation operations.
Entry Requirements:
Age:
- Minimum 16 years old.
Language (English Track):
- At least a Pass (Grade C6) in GCE O-Level English;
- or IELTS 5.5;
Academic (Local Students):
- Completed NITEC or Higher NITEC; or
- Obtained at least a Pass in one GCE O-Level subject (excluding English).
Academic (International Students):
- Completion of High School Qualification (Grade 10 or equivalent).
Graduation Requirements:
- Successful completion of all e-learning modules and assessments.
