Who is this course suitable for?
This course is suitable for:
- Career changers/entrants into helping professions — individuals looking to move into counselling, social work, human resources, or community/social service roles who need a recognised qualification to enter the field.
- Working professionals in adjacent fields — teachers, nurses, social workers, HR practitioners, and pastoral/church workers who regularly deal with people's emotional and psychological wellbeing and want formal grounding in counselling theory and practice.
- Mature students/second-career learners — adults returning to study who are drawn to psychology and human development but may not have a prior related academic background.
This course aims to improve productivity by teaching people who need to serve others at work or in groups, such as HR managers, teachers, nurses, and people associated with religious groups, to communicate more effectively and boost productivity. At the same time, we also help those who are in distress, particularly adolescents, to improve their family and social relations. Additionally, the course introduces AI applications in counselling to enhance assessment accuracy and personalize intervention strategies
Entry Requirement:
- Age: 16 years old and above
- Language: At least a Pass in GCE O-Level Chinese or equivalent. Those without first language is Chinese do not require to prove their language skill.
- Academic: At least with a pass in GCE A level or equivalent or For Mature candidates (30 years old and above, with a minimum of 8 years of work experience)
Graduation Requirement:
Student must achieve at least 75% attendance for all modules and a minimum passing of 50% for all assessments to be awarded the Diploma in Counselling Psychology

Module 3: Psychological Counselling Practice& Promotion Coaching Skills
Module 4: Theories and Techniques of Psychological Counselling
Module 5: Psychological Counselling Practice on Specific Client Issues
Module 6: AI Applications in Psychometric Assessment and Counselling
