The course objectives are to equip students with practical skills in livestream production, content creation, and digital marketing; to develop their ability to engage and manage online audiences effectively, including handling negative feedback; to apply consumer psychology and AI tools for deeper audience insights; and to foster professional and ethical standards, culminating in the creation of a portfolio that supports career advancement or further studies.
After completing the course, students will have acquired practical skills in livestream production including camera operation, lighting, audio, and switching; content creation and scripting tailored for engaging live
audiences; digital marketing strategies to promote livestream events and analyze performance; and techniques to build and manage online communities effectively. They will also develop an understanding of consumer psychology to influence viewer behaviour, learn how to handle negative feedback and moderate live comments professionally, and gain foundational knowledge of AI psychometric tools to better understand audience characteristics. Additionally, students will be equipped with professional and ethical standards required in digital media and will have compiled a comprehensive portfolio showcasing their acquired skills, readying them for career advancement or further education.
Age : at least 16 years old
Academic: Completed NITEC or Higher NITEC or At least one GCE 'O' Level Pass in any subject besides English or At least 10 years of formal education.
Language: At least a Pass (Grade C6) in GCE 'O' Level English or IELTS 5.5 or Score of at least 95 in Duolingo English Test or Pass in Forbell English Placement Test achieving B2 level.
Graduation requirement:
Student must achieve at least 75% attendance for all modules and a minimum passing of 50% for all assessments to be awarded the Diploma in Livestreaming – Consumer Psychology (E-learning).
