Who is this course suitable for?
The IATA Certificate in Air Transport Fundamentals is designed for :
- New entrants to aviation/travel
- Existing industry staff
Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the history of air transport and the economic role of airports;
- Identify key customers and partners of an airport;
- Acquire fundamental knowledge of airport operations and commercial functions;
- Apply learned concepts and tools to real-world airport environments to make informed operational decisions.
Age: Minimum 16 years old.
Language: English proficiency equivalent to GCE O-Level (Grade C6) or IELTS 5.5, or Duolingo equivalent accepted.
Academic Qualification: Local applicants: Completed NITEC/Higher NITEC or at least one GCE O-Level pass (C6 and above) in any subject other than English. International applicants: Completed Grade 10 or equivalent.
Graduation Requirement: Successful completion of all e-learning modules and final assessment.
